Scientists, doctors, psychologists, and other mind-bending guru’s follow the same idea of what the definition of insanity is. If we look to the experts, they will do their best to come up with creative ways to intervene and support parents of children and teenagers if needed.
Albert Einstein thoughtfully said, that insanity- “is doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results.”
Well, ok, applying that idea, if we mother’s want to change things up, because our first attempt at getting support was not successful, then we implement chore lists, we have quick impromtu meetings, we even join social groups and online chat rooms. Any new ideas are welcome so that we are not caught doing the “same thing over and over again.” That is a good theory until it’s not; like a ferris wheel going up and around and coming back down and around over and over again spinning our emotions into a frenzy–nothing ever changes. So, not to be outdone by Einstein, (because what did he know about raising teenagers anyway), I came up with my own definition. Cheers!
